Padel shoes in India: what to buy and where it's cheapest
Updated 6 October 2026. Prices checked on 12 October 2026.
Padel courts in India are artificial grass with sand on top. Running shoes and most gym trainers are not made for that: a smooth sole slides on the sand, a deep-lugged one grips too hard when you turn. A padel shoe has a herringbone or padel-specific pattern built for that surface, and more support on the sides for the constant sideways steps.
These seven are shoes the shop itself sells as padel shoes, in stock in India. We have not tested them on court. The picks are based on what the brands say each shoe is built for, published weights and the price in Indian shops. Prices and the sizes in stock update every week, and with shoes the size often decides where you buy.

1.Kuikma PS Team
Best for: your first pair of padel shoes.
Decathlon's own padel shoe, at roughly half the price of the cheapest Asics here. Decathlon pitches it at intermediate players, with a herringbone and clay pattern on the sole and a stiffer midfoot to stop the foot twisting on quick turns. For someone who plays once or twice a week, that covers what matters. Decathlon does not show stock per size in a way we can read, so check your size on their page.

Good
- Proper padel sole for far less than the big brands
- Sold in Decathlon stores, so you can try it on
Not so good
- Only one shop, so nothing to compare on price
- No published weight we could confirm
2.ASICS Game FF
Best for: light, low shoe at an entry price.
The entry model in Asics' padel range and the lightest Asics here: Tennis Warehouse Europe lists it at 322 g in men's US 10.5. It sits low to the ground and has a two-piece split outsole, which Asics uses to cut weight. Lightness has a price: there is less support on the side than in the Challenger or Resolution below. A good buy for lighter players who move a lot and don't need a stability shoe.

Good
- Lightest Asics padel shoe in this guide
- Among the cheapest brand padel shoes in India
Not so good
- Less lateral support than the heavier Asics models
3.ASICS Gel-Challenger 15
Best for: stability on a mid budget.
Costs a little more than the Game FF and is clearly heavier (389 g in US 10.5 according to Tennis Warehouse Europe), but you get more structure for it: a modified herringbone sole and Asics' Wingwall on the side for lateral stability. If you are heavier, play long sessions or have twisted an ankle before, this is the better of the two cheaper Asics.

4.ASICS Solution Speed FF 3
Best for: fast players who want a light shoe.
Asics' speed shoe, and at 342 g in US 10.5 (Tennis Warehouse Europe) light for its price. The one-piece herringbone sole has pivot points for turning at the net. It is also one of the easiest shoes on this list to buy: several Indian shops stock it, and the price gap between them is worth checking.

Good
- Light and quick, built for speed
- Stocked by several shops
Not so good
- A speed shoe gives up some support compared to a stability model
5.Babolat Jet Premura 2
Best for: babolat fans who want a fast shoe.
Babolat's light padel shoe, with an outsole developed with Michelin. Published weights differ too much between sources to quote one, so we leave the number out. It is close to the Solution Speed in purpose and price. Choose between the two on fit: Asics and Babolat shape their shoes differently, so try both on if you can.

6.ASICS Gel-Resolution X
Best for: players who want the most support.
The stability model of the Asics range, with a full-length herringbone sole and a reworked Dynawall on the outside of the foot for lateral support. It is the most expensive shoe in this guide. Worth it if you play several times a week or need the support; more shoe than a casual weekly game needs.

7.Babolat Sensa (women's)
Best for: women who want a light padel shoe.
The only women's shoe on this list, and widely stocked. Tennis Warehouse Europe lists it at 292 g in women's US 8.5, with a Michelin rubber outsole in an S-shaped pattern. The shops stock different size ranges, so the cheapest shop may not have yours. Check the shoe's page before you order.

Speed or stability?
Most padel shoe ranges come in two types. Speed shoes (Asics Game FF and Solution Speed, Babolat Jet Premura) are lighter and lower, so you move quicker but get less support. Stability shoes (Asics Gel-Challenger and Gel-Resolution) add structure on the outside of the foot.
If you are new to padel, heavier, or have weak ankles, start with stability. Light, quick players who have played for a while usually prefer speed.
Getting the size right
Indian shops list padel shoes in UK sizes. Fit differs between brands, so try a shoe on in a store if you can, or order from a shop with easy returns.
Sizes sell out fast. The size range in the table shows what is in stock across all shops together. Open the shoe's own page to see which shop has your size.
About the weights
Brands rarely publish shoe weights, and shops weigh different sizes. We only quote a weight we read on a retailer's own product page, with the size it applies to. All weights above come from Tennis Warehouse Europe. Where sources disagree, we leave the weight out.
